Welcome to my new forecasting blog. While this blog will not be used for storm chase related forecasting entirely, severe weather will definitely be the theme over the next couple of months. My motivation for creating this blog is because of several other related blogs and message boards that post quite a bit of flawed logic when it comes to forcasting in severe weather situations. I intend to forecast to the best of my abilities, and leave out all of the ’sensational’ wording that many of these people choose to use. The next couple of days look pretty calm in the south central Plains… I’ll update when a more exciting synoptic pattern evolves.
